Let’s rediscover who you are in this next chapter of life.
You’ve spent so many years taking care of everyone else, your children, your family, and your home…that somewhere along the way, you may have lost touch with yourself. But these days, things are shifting. Maybe your kids are growing up or leaving home, your role in the family is changing, or your relationship feels different than it used to. And you’re wondering…what now?
Oftentimes, you feel stuck, overwhelmed, and maybe even a little hopeless. Things that once brought you joy just don’t feel the same anymore. Conversations with your partner are more strained or distant, even when you’re both trying to connect, and the same old patterns or resentments are starting to resurface.
For many women, this stage of life can feel disorienting. And that makes sense, especially when everything on the outside looks like it should be okay, but the inside is an entirely different story. The pressure, responsibility, and emotional weight of these things can build until something has to give—be it a difficult conversation, a breaking point in your relationship, or simply the realization that you don’t want to keep living like this every day.
In our work together, we’ll create an environment where you can slow down, take a deep and long-overdue breath, and begin to make sense of everything you’re carrying and experiencing. Therapy here is collaborative and grounded in meaningful conversation—because I know you’re the expert on your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore what a more aligned life could look like.
I specialize in working with women in midlife (often between 35–65) who are navigating identity shifts, perimenopause, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. This season can feel disorienting, and I love helping women reconnect with who they are and what they want—whether they’re raising kids, launching them, or redefining life in a new phase. I also work with couples and families who feel disconnected or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break.
Together we’ll work to untangle what’s been building beneath the surface, whether that’s miscommunication in your relationship, unresolved hurt, or the loss of your own sense of self. I’ll help you find and put words to what you’re feeling, offer tools and guidance when it’s helpful, and support you in identifying what you need to move forward in the way you want.
Our time may include learning how to set boundaries, communicating more openly, and reconnecting, not just with your partner or family, but with the real you. This process isn’t about being told what to do. It’s more about figuring out what feels true for you, what aligns with your values, and building the confidence to move in that direction.
I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the room. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years raising my children and caring for others—including serving as a foster parent and supporting children with complex needs—which deeply shaped my sense of empathy, patience, and belief in the resilience of individuals and families. As a mom and long-term partner, I understand how easy it is to lose yourself in the roles you’ve held for so long, and how meaningful—and sometimes challenging—it can be to rediscover who you are outside of them.
Therapy with me is warm, accepting, and non-judgmental, a place where you can show up exactly as you are. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin, you just need somewhere to start. We’ll take it from there, together.
