A steady, supportive space to slow down, understand yourself deeply, and feel more in control.

You might be here because life just doesn’t feel good…and you can’t quite put your finger on why. Maybe you keep running into the same issues in your friendships, dating life, or with your partner, and you’re left wondering, “Why do I keep reacting like this?” or “Why does this feel so hard?” You’re more anxious, overwhelmed, or insecure than you thought you would be at this point in your life—about your body, your relationships, or your place in the world. Maybe something jarring has recently happened: a breakup, a big fight with your family, a friendship ending, or a growing dissatisfaction with work that’s made it impossible to ignore how unhappy you feel.

A lot of my clients come in knowing they’re the common denominator in these patterns, but not knowing what to do with that insight. They’re tired of shoving down their emotions, tired of being reactive or “on edge,” and tired of trying to think their way out of feeling the way they do. If this is your first time in therapy, or you’ve been hesitant to try again after a past experience, I want you to know you don’t have to have it all figured out to start—we can take things one step at a time, together.

I work primarily with adults in their 20s and 30s who are navigating relationships, identity, anxiety, and the lingering impact of earlier experiences. Many of the people I support are juggling family expectations, cultural influences, or religious backgrounds that still shape how they see themselves. I also work with older adults and value the depth and perspective they bring to therapy. I welcome clients of all genders and backgrounds, and show up to every session with humility—recognizing that I don’t know your life the way you do, but genuinely wanting to help you make it feel better.

Early on in our work, we’ll focus on helping you build coping skills, emotional awareness, and a better understanding of how your mind and body respond to stress.

As we go, we’ll also gently explore where these patterns you’re noticing started. That might mean looking at family dynamics, cultural expectations, or early experiences that shaped how you relate to yourself and others today.

I draw from my backgrounds in both physiology and counseling to help you connect what’s happening emotionally with what’s happening in your body. Depending on your needs, our work may include learning about emotions and nervous system responses, tracing current reactions back to earlier experiences, or using experiential methods like EMDR or IFS therapy for trauma to process certain experiences when you’re ready. If faith or spirituality is important to you, I’m open to incorporating that into our work as well.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my steadiness and consistency—that I show up as the same grounded, authentic person each session, no matter what. I take that seriously. I’ll bring curiosity, empathy, and a genuine desire to understand your experience, and I’ll encourage you to be curious about yourself too—about what you’re feeling, why it makes sense, and what might be possible with more awareness and support.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from University of Arkansas and completed my graduate training in Counseling with a concentration in sexual addiction at Southern Methodist University. I am EMDR trained and incorporate IFS-informed and sex therapy-informed approaches into my work. My path into this field was shaped by my own curiosity about people, emotions, and healing, and I continue to invest time outside of sessions learning and growing so I can show up fully for my clients.

If you’re feeling stuck, on edge, or disconnected from yourself and are ready to find clarity, I’d be honored to support you.
